Peter Hedlund received his B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in May of 2008. Now he is pursuing an M.S. in Electrical Engineering at the U of I under Prof. Makela. His research is primarily focused on simulating neutral wind estimation by Fabry-Perot Interferometers and developing a method for using two instruments simultaneously to improve measurement accuracy. He also has been responsible for the deployment and maintenance of instruments in the field.
